    Hi Guys,

Want to start venturing away from the stand alone WW BK kits and start adding some hops to my brew.

Thinking of doing a WW APA with say Amarillo Hops. A couple of questions.

1/ How many grams should I be adding to a BK10 to obtain a brew that is not too overpowered with hops?

2/ Do I add the hops to pre boiled water in a coffee plunger?
If so, how long do I let this sit for before adding to the wort? and what temp should the water be.prior to adding the hops?

Welcome other opinions on hops varieties to add to the WW APA.

    Cheers

You will see some suitable hops in the recipes. Also consider Mosiac and Falconers Flight. Falconers Flight is blend of suitable hops but because of it being a blend it’s a bit hard to match flavours to the individual hops (for us novices anyway!). Sometimes it’s best to stick to one hop at a time so you get to know what you like and don’t like as much.
