hey everyone has anyone used a grain father to make a wort then transferred to a WW to ferment for the week still trying to chase down the elusive hoppy beer

I have used a BIAB setup and transferred. Have a Robobrew coming at the end of the month.

Hoppy beers aren’t elusive using WW kits but you will need to add to them – check out the WW recipes. There’s some good Pale Ales/IPAs. Also check out https://beer-thinkers.williamswarn.com/forums/topic/panhead-supercharger-clone/

Yes, I have done many beers in the Grandfather and transferred to the WW with great success.

A huge tip to handle Trub. use 1 whirlfoc tablet 10 min left in the boil. chip wort, transfer to the WW and wait 1 hour before you pitch yeast. after 1 hour, you should see the sediment bottle is about 3/4 filled with trub. remove the trub, and pitch yeast. great results every time!
