A lot of the Brewkeg10 recipes mention using more than one type of hop. I have a french press and will use the steeping method for now. Is it OK to steep different types of hops together at once, or is it best to steep them separately for 10 mins each then add the liquid from each hop steep to the main mix?
One could use any Hop-combo possible… It’s all about what you like and prefer…
Keep in mind, there are varieties traditionally used for “bittering” and others are used for “aromas”.
But, in the end it’s your “tastebuds” that matters, nothing else.
Using the “French Press Method” is seen entirely as adding aromas only…
Leaving the whole unit overnight, or even longer in the fridge, might add another level
of aroma-pungency to your brew. It’s like a kind of “dry hopping”.
