Has anyone else had a really sulfury smell from the VPRV. I’ve had 3 batches from about 50 brews that have smelled like wet farts. The latest one is a WW Belgian ale with T-58 yeast (The other 2 were Lion Draught and MJ’s IPA).

As far as I can tell it’s caused by certain yeasts and is a natural by-product of fermentation.
The last batch I bottled and matured it in a dark corner for 3 months, which made it better. This time I’ve brewed it to 0 psi and then gassed up the vessel to 3 bar after clarification. I think it will still need to age.

Does anyone know how to prevent this happening?
